The LaboGene ScanSpeed 1096R is a floor-standing, refrigerated, large-capacity, high-speed centrifuge. With the swing-out rotor, 4 blood bags or 4 x 1 400 ml can be centrifuged, and with the fixed angle rotor, a volume of 6 x 500 ml. Separate buckets and adapters are available for blood bags and blood collection tubes, making it also suitable for separating blood products. It can be moved on lockable, adjustable-level castors.
