VacSafe aspiration vacuum pump. - Capacity: 2x10 liters/min at the two outlet ports, or 1x15 liters/min when combined - Achievable vacuum: 7 mbar (7 hPa) with 0 °C water (e.g. with ice cubes added to the water); 30 mbar (30 hPa) with 24 °C water - Achievable vacuum depends on the temperature of the circulated water - Portable, lightweight: 3 kg (without water), small footprint - Quiet, vibration-free operation - Simple to use, no oil changes required - Vapors/liquids are collected in the water reservoir and can simply be poured out - Operating principle identical to a water-jet pump (Bernoulli principle): the fast-flowing water stream creates suction that carries away air/particles on the suction side - Environmentally friendly: saves up to 5 m³ of drinking water per day compared to a conventional water-jet pump (pays for itself in about 100 days) - Wide range of applications: aspiration of culture media, filtration, gel drying, evaporation, rotary evaporation, etc. - Available in two versions: acrylic reservoir (4 liters) and stainless steel reservoir (4 liters) Optional accessories: aspiration flask (collection bottle, 1 liter, screw cap, quick tube connector - mainly used for aspirating liquid from cell culture vessels, test tubes, etc.); silicone tubing; Y-connector (to combine two suction ports); vacuum gauge and regulating valve for one port.
